Manifestation is an Act of Resistance
Why Dreaming Big in Hard Times Is a Radical Act
Manifestation has gotten a bit (or a lot) of a capitalist makeover in the past several years. I LOVE that it’s become more mainstream to discuss, but manifestation TikTok is full of spiritual bypassing, self-indulgence and people who think that manifestation is simply about getting everything you want. But manifestation—true, grounded, embodied manifestation—is so much more than a personal practice. It’s a radical act of resistance.
To manifest a life in alignment with your values is to say no to systems that profit from your exhaustion. It’s to divest from power structures that tell you your worth is based on productivity, appearance, or conformity. It’s to remember that you are inherently worthy, inherently creative, and inherently powerful.
✨ Authenticity is Revolutionary
Living in your authenticity means rejecting the scripts handed to you by capitalism, patriarchy, white supremacy, and colonialism. These systems rely on disconnection—disconnection from your body, your intuition, your community, and the Earth. But when you return to yourself, when you choose a slower, more intentional way of living, you become ungovernable in the most beautiful way.
You stop outsourcing your power.
You stop subscribing to scarcity.
You stop playing small.
And that’s a threat to the systems that benefit when we stay stuck in fear.
🌱 Alignment Creates Ripples
When you live in alignment, you’re not just healing yourself—you’re shifting the energy around you. Your aligned life becomes a beacon for others, a reminder that another way is possible.
When you trust your intuition, make heart-led choices, and pursue joy, you’re modeling a life that doesn’t revolve around burnout, overconsumption, or blind obedience. You’re reclaiming your energy and redirecting it toward community care, creative vision, and meaningful change.
🔥 Manifestation Is Not Escapism
In this moment, when so many are facing political violence, climate crisis, and systemic inequality, it’s easy to feel like manifestation is frivolous or out of touch.
But the truth is: we need imagination more than ever. The people in power do not want you to believe in your ability to create a different world. Your hope is dangerous. Your vision is subversive.
Manifestation is not about bypassing reality—it’s about refusing to settle for it. It’s about asking: What if this isn't all there is? What if we could create something better—together?
✨ A New Way of Being
The “New Earth” isn’t a distant dream (although again, its vision is being co-opted by the love and light crowd). This new paradigm is already being built, breath by breath, choice by choice. It’s really difficult now as systems collapse around us. The struggle is real and we are witnessing the very real effects of living out of alignment with the Earth. But every time you opt out of the grind, rest without guilt, invest in healing, or support local mutual aid, you're participating in a new paradigm—one rooted in abundance, sustainability, reciprocity, and love.
That is the true magic of manifestation:
It’s not just about you getting what you want.
It’s about us remembering what we deserve.
